To achieve this, it’s been labored the new concept of "performance" (vision of the artistic expression of the XXI century), which allows directors to work with freedom of speech.
 In the period of 1910 to 1940, the Brazilian theatrical organization was dominated by Brazilian Theatre Cias. Theatre, within these core there had been formed great Brazilian actors. Actors who began their careers in the neighborhoods Recreation Committees (by that time, practically  every neighborhood of Rio de Janeiro had its alumni association, where people from other professions developed  theatrical arts  skils as amateurs), started to integrate these Cias. and became the highlights in the Brazilian Theatrical scene. Aiming this structure, Cia. de Teatro Contemporâneo  acquired a headquarters where we develop a series of activities in order to give chance to everyone who wants to live with a Theatre Company and take risks within this art.
Located in Rio de Janeiro,Brazil, in the district of Botafogo, Conde de Irajá Street, 253, between the streets Voluntários da Pátria and São Clemente, near to Cobal do Humaitá, an old house from 1890 that has preserved its facade, and is under the tutelage of INEPAC, is the new headquarters of Cia de Teatro Contemporâneo. Composed of two rooms for presentations: The Theatre I with 100 seats equipped with friezes and balcony, the room has peeling walls showing the structures of the ancient walls of the house), Theatre II with 50 seats and a loose structure with chairs to be arranged as the proposal of the director). It also has na open bar area serving the best snacks in the city, as well as dressing rooms, bathrooms and administration. Thos place allows the Company to develop its research activities in language, where there are acting classes (for beginners, professionals, non-actors, children, adults and special), dancing, singing and other artistic activities for their parts, concentrating all activities on a single space. Headquarters is the realization of a dream for all members of the Company and became a generator of innovative artistic and cultural striking and constant expressions, becoming a reference within the city of Rio de Janeiro
